Evening at the atelier in the Grand Bazaar

THE ATELIER

The rest of the story is at the bench

We'd love to welcome you to the atelier.

THE ATELIER

Half a century at the same bench

This small shop, opened in 1972 by master craftsman Cevdet Meridyen, has stood on the same bench among the stone walls of the Grand Bazaar for half a century. The same light, the same patience, the same handcraft.

Today, one master and two journeymen work in the atelier. Every piece comes from a single bench — no mass production, no molds — only patience and gold.
